Sonic Dream Team Speed Routes: Faster Lines Through Every World
Speed routes cut seconds off every Sonic Dream Team level. Here is how to find them.

What a speed route is
A speed route in Sonic Dream Team game is the fastest line through a level: the right boosts, the right rails, and the fewest wasted jumps. Finding one means learning a level cold, then cutting every slow choice out of your run.
Speed routes are not shortcuts in the cheating sense. They are the intended fast lines, built from rails, springs and boost pads the designers placed for exactly this purpose.
Learning a route
Learn a level slowly first: walk it, note the rails, note the springs, and note where boosts sit. Then run it fast, and cut one slow section per attempt. Five focused attempts beat fifty rushed ones.
Watch your own replays in your head: where did you stop, where did you fall, where did you boost too late. Every stop is a route flaw, and every flaw has a fix.
Hero choice for speed
Speed heroes win most time missions, and the Spin Dash changes speed routes for Sonic, Amy and Shadow by turning standing starts into instant motion. Practice Spin Dash starts on flat ground until they are automatic. Related reading: Cream Returns in Sonic Dream Team: Why Fans Cheered.
Flight and climbing heroes rarely win time missions, but their routes sometimes hide ring lines that score attack values more than raw time. Learn both kinds of fast: fast to the goal, and fast to the score.
Score attack thinking
Score attack rewards rings, tricks and smooth lines, not just finishing first. A clean run with full rings beats a messy fast run, so practice clean before practicing fast, and let speed follow smoothness. Related reading: Dream Orbs in Sonic Dream Team: How Unlocks Really Work.
